Innovate: The Formula for Store Brand Success

Store brand innovation has never been more important. But innovation now means developing products that are not only newer and different but are also better-for-you. Over the last year, Kerry surveyed over 1,400 United States private label consumers. The research aimed to uncover consumer perceptions and relevance of private label brands across food & beverage categories and to identify product or retailer attributes that were prioritized in each food and beverage category for private label shoppers. Ultimately, the study created a picture of the true "Private Label Consumer" -- the consumer who will drive private label innovation for years to come.

In this session of PLMA’s 2022 “Lunch & Learn” series, on Thursday, February 24, Elizabeth Horvath, Vice President Marketing, and Sarah Miller, Marketing Insights Manager, will discuss Kerry’s research, to explore innovation ideas for both retailers and manufacturers as the food & beverage industry tries to balance bringing new products to market with the current macroeconomic headwinds.
