Leadership Conference Set for San Antonio, Mar 20-22

PLMA’s 2024 Annual Meeting & Leadership Conference will be held March 20-22 at the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk. 

The conference aims to study private labels in a whole new light. The industry has become a star player in retailing, the quintessential competitive strategy when it comes to influence, innovation, and quality. 

Private label products work hard building corporate equity, marketplace differentiation and consumer loyalty. Store brands have achieved a special place, one from which much is expected. But despite these achievements, there is no time for backslapping. The conference will examine how it is imperative for the industry to discuss the challenges and opportunities that come with this new and deeper responsibility. 

Speakers will include Scott Lucas, Managing Director, Sterling Brands Cincinnati; Arjun Chakravarti, Ph.D. Managing Partner, Cogknition Analytics, who will present on macroeconomics and store brands; Erich Kahner, dunnhumby’s Customer Strategy & Insights Director, North America, who will talk about discounters Lidl and Aldi.
